An article about the Westclox factory in Scotland was just added to the ClockHistory.com web site. This factory produced over 50 million clocks in its lifetime. Many of these clocks are still around today, and can easily be found on Internet auction sites.

    you solved my seth thomas schoolhouse clock strike problem . thanks. One more request I have my father’s westclox waralarm metal clock ivory – every thing ok except the tiny balance spring is damaged and I could not get it. This model is “made in USA and UK” I also need the seconds hand. Any helpful suggestions?
