I recently repaired this Schatz 1000 day clock. It is dated 10 56 (October 1956) on the rear of the movement.

This clock has its original instruction sheet, with both English and German instructions

See more photos.

Repair job 5559.

  1. I’ve seen prices all over the place, from $35 at auctions to $300 – $400 in clock shops.

Do you have any information or history on your family members involved in the Schatz clock business? Schatz was the only maker of this 1000 day clock.

  2. Dale Schatz says:

I have a 1000 day clock as pictured. Am curious as to value. I have been told that my grandfather left brothers in Germany when he came to America who were in the clock business and he believed these clocks to have been created by them.
