A 1950s Cuckoo Clock that Fell Off the Wall

This 1950s German cuckoo clock fell off the wall. Fortunately, it wasn’t too badly damaged. All of the wood case parts had clean breaks, and no one had tried gluing it yet. The left photo below shows it as my customer brought it to me.

Repair job 5838. Case glued together, movement cleaned, pivots polished, 12 bushings installed.

    Hi Bill,

I am getting this same clock from a friend and he has told me it needs ‘some’ rehab. Since you have experience with this model, maybe we could send to you for repair. It may just need assembly, it did not fall and break like the one you repaired. Let me know if you are interested. Also, do you know the manufacturer name and or model of this clock? My wife collects them and I can’t find anything but pictures on the net. If you mentioned above, I must have missed it as I scanned a couple of times. Nice clock tho, excited to get it up and running! I should receive it next week. For now, I can send pics if you’d like to see if it looks repairable. Thank you.

    Mike
