<p>The 8-day No. 89 movement strikes the hour and half-hour on a cathedral (heavy flat wire) gong.</p>
<p>The case is 9 3/16 inches tall and 16 3/4 inches wide. The dial&#8217;s minute track is 4 1/2 inches in diameter, and the minute hand is 2 5/16 inches long.</p>

<p>The pendulum bob is 45.3 mm diameter, and weighs 5.4 ounces.</p>

This clock appears older, judging from the fancier case style. The case is 35 1/2 inches tall and 14 9/16 inches wide. The enamel dial has a 4 15/16 diameter minute track, and the minute hand is 2 9/6 inches long.</p>
<p>The movement has serial number 101683; and has &#8220;43&#8243; on the front and &#8220;683&#8243; on the back. Again, this movement has fine pivots and pinions, like a French clock or a Lenzkirch.</p>

The movement and the gong base have the Schlenker &amp; Kienzle logo, as illustrated in  &#8221;Clock &amp; Watch Trademarks of European Origin&#8221;, Karl Kochman, S. Larose, Inc. Greensboro, NC 1984.  p. 69. The clock strikes the hour and half hour on a single gong rod.</p>
<p>The movement&#8217;s serial number is 189251. The movement has fine pivots and pinions like a Lenzkirch or a French clock.</p>
