Kundo Standard 400 Day Clock with Large Dial

Here is another Kundo standard 400 day clock with large dial, as I described in Kundo and Welby Standard 400 day Clocks with Large Dial.

This example has “wings” on the movement to make it look like the wide movement that was first used on Kundo standard 400 day clocks. It has the older type of pendulum like the Welby clock had, but has the short (later) type of movement mounting nuts

Repair job 4846. Horolovar back plate no. 1376. 0.0032 inch thick suspension spring.

  1. Our clock was given to us in about 1978. I have not used it for a few years. We never did have a key with it. I think it runs on a battery but I don’t know how to open it to find out. Would you be able to give me any advice.

    Thanks.
