Here’s a nice example of a Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. oak long drop octagon wall clock named “Consort.” It has an 8-day time only movement. The case is 32 inches tall and 17 7/8 inches wide. The dial’s minute track is 11 inches outside diameter, and the minute hand is 5 1/4 inches from center to tip.
Repair job 6444. A previous repairer had crudely soldered on a replacement clickspring. I removed the solder and neatly installed a new round steel wire clickspring. I polished the pivots, installed 7 bushings, and re-pinned 3 pinions. The mainspring was a too-strong spring labeled Usibel, France, that was 0.0185 inch thick! I installed a new, thinner and longer spring 3/4 by 120 by 0.016 inches. The too-strong mainspring caused mainwheel tooth wear.

What is the clock value and price?
My mother-in-law has this same clock. Do you know what year it was made?
